Cassava, one of the main staples of the Filipino fare, is a very versatile crop and can be made into a variety of products. A source of income for most farmers in upland Tanay, a sizeable harvest will give growers a welcome increase in earnings.
To enhance the knowledge and skills of the farmers in cassava production, the Department of Science and Technology in the partnership of Department of Agrarian Reform-Rizal Province conducted a three-day training on cassava production with Organization of Agrarian Reform Beneficiary Farmers of Inalsan, Inc. (OARBFII) from 4-6, May 2022.

Last April 25-26, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-Batangas conducted various S&T activities in the Municipality of Tingloy, Batangas to lay the grounds for possible technology deployment and rollout activities.
