The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is calling the attention of interested researchers, scientists and professors for the 2010 and 2011 Call for Proposals under the Manila Economic and Cultural Office - Taiwan Economic and Cultural Office (MECOTECO) S&T Cooperation. Under the call for proposals, Filipino proponents will have the opportunity to work with their Taiwanese counterparts with funding support from DOST and NSC, respectively. Deadline for filing of 2010 S&T Scholarships MOVED
The Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI) is announcing POSTPONEMENT of the deadline for the filing of the 2010 S&T Scholarships from September 30, 2009 to OCTOBER 9, 2009.

Four firms in Cavite recently received PhP3.50M in technical and financial assistance from DOST CALABARZON through its Provincial S&T Center (PSTC). Engr. Raul D. Castaneda, S&T director of PSTC-Cavite, assisted the four firms under the Small Enterprises Upgrading Program (SETUP) in acquiring state of the art equipment while four other enterprises received technical assistance in developing a packaging system.
