DOST-CALABARZON’s information systems continue to reach and help more agencies in the enhancement of their office operations. The recent addition is the adoption of the Tracking, Retrieval, Archiving of Documents for Efficiency (TRADE) by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP). The Memorandum of Agreement was signed last October 6.
Developed in 2019, TRADE is an information system that tracks finance-related operations from receipt to completion of the dealing. It is a monitoring tool that determines the status of financial transactions such as compensations, liquidations, reimbursements, and for payments. TRADE also generates relevant financial reports such as Receipt of Checks Issued (RCI), Monthly Transactions per RC Code, Index per Period, and Obligation and Disbursement Report.
Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, the installation and configuration of the system will be done remotely as compared before where the developer or the adopter visits the office to conduct this. DOST-CALABARZON afterwards will conduct a system orientation to the DAP employees.
Just recently, the National Police Commission Regional Office 8 (NAPOLCOMR8) has adopted two of DOST-CALABARZON’s in-housed developed information systems: Tracking, Retrieval, Archiving of Communications for Efficiency (TRACE) and Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS).
