Last 6 December 2022, the Los Baños Science Community Foundation, Inc. (LBSCFI) through the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB) spearheaded the conduct of this year’s Technology Forum as part of their National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) celebration: the SyenSaya. Following the NSTW theme, “Agham at Teknolohiya: Kabalikat sa Matatag at Maunlad na Kinabukasan,” the Technology Forum highlighted the importance of Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) in building a resilient and sustainable economy.

The Los Baños Science Community Foundation, Inc. (LBSCFI) concluded its three-day celebration of the National Science and Technology Week (NSTW), the SyenSaya Science Festival, last 7 December 2022. The SyenSaya is an annual fair of the LBSCFI, a non-profit organization composed of 25-member institutions based in Los Baños, the Special Science and Nature City of the Philippines. For this year’s celebration, the Foundation organized hybrid (in-person and online) Opening, Awarding and Closing Ceremonies, the Wonderama (virtual exhibit), and Technology Forum (webinar).

Last 14 November 2022, DOST-CALABARZON, through its Provincial Science and Technology Office of Rizal (PSTO-Rizal), conducted its 7th Provincial Stakeholders Forum with this year’s title, “Science for the People Amidst Emergence from the Pandemic” held at the Pilgrim Hall of University of Rizal System Antipolo Campus in Rizal province.

The Los Banos Science Community Foundation, Inc. (LBSC) will conduct its back-to-back hybrid celebration of its SyenSaya Science Festival from 5-7 December 2022 at the EO Tan Hall, DOST-PCAARRD and SEARCA Auditorium at UPLB simultaneously via Zoom and Facebook Live.

Last 12 October 2022, the Department of Science and Technology – CALABARZON, through its Provincial S&T Office of Rizal conducted a ceremonial turnover of the Angono New Normal Farmers Association (ANNFA) to the Local Government Unit of Angono (LGU-Angono) at Botong Francisco Avenue, Hillsdale Subdivision, Brgy. San Isidro in Angono, Rizal. The ceremony aims to honor ANNFA’s endeavors and sustainability through receiving continued support and supervision from LGU-Angono.
